ItsWare site: the smart asset cabinet in a factory setting.

ItsWare tracks and manages physical assets in real time, pairing digital tags with a mobile app to streamline inventory, assign tasks, and reduce asset loss. We designed the product across three surfaces, the web dashboard, a cabinet interface for the physical checkout point, and a mobile app for the field, plus the brand and 3D visuals. They had to look and feel like one product.

The challenge

ItsWare came to us with a clear product idea and needed it designed end to end. Tracking physical tools across teams and sites is messy. Assets move, people forget to return them, items go missing and nobody knows when or where. The interface had to make a complex system feel simple: see every asset, know where it is, who has it, and what needs attention.

The harder part was consistency. A user moves from a desk to a cabinet to a phone in the same shift. The product had to feel the same in all three places.

What we designed

  • Branding: a logo, color system, and type that read as serious and trustworthy for operations and industrial buyers
  • Web app: the control center, with full asset inventory, live status, assignments, and reporting in one place
  • Cabinet interface: a focused screen at the physical point where staff grab and return tools, built for speed
  • Mobile app: field-first, scan a tag, check an asset in or out, and see your tasks from a phone
  • 3D design: product and hardware visuals for the website and marketing

How we approached it

One design system across all three surfaces: shared components, shared patterns, shared language, so a user never has to relearn the product when they switch screens. We worked from the real job each surface does. The web app is for managing, the cabinet is for fast handoffs, the mobile app is for the field. Each one is shaped around that single job, not stretched to do everything.

Results

  • A client vision turned into fully implemented designs across web, cabinet, and mobile in three months
  • Brand, product, and 3D delivered as one coherent system
They perfectly captured our vision and turned it into a seamless, intuitive user experience. From the website to the app, every detail was thoughtfully designed, making ItsWare's functionality shine.
